To successfully implement an EA framework to support the re-modernization of statewide welfare management system of NYS OTDA.
SCOPE | To optimize the user interface for EA application, ANGARAI facilitated vendor support services, including project management, to support the enterprise architecture (EA) tool to baseline and document the agency's IT architecture for business process analysis and implementing future cost effective IT solutions.

BACKGROUND

The Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) is responsible for supervising programs that provide assistance and support to the disadvantaged in the state of New York. To centralize, manage and align the organization's Business Processes (BP) and better define its relationship with IT software and hardware, staffing structure, IT and business operations and better define projects within the context of OTDA's overall strategy and business plan.

SOLUTION

ANGARAI facilitated the installation, training and support of an EA (Enterprise Architecture) tool called MEGA. This included ensuring the compliance with the TOGAF framework to facilitate the process for the Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Analysis.
