Background:

ANGARAI is looking for an Organizational Change Management Specialist for one of our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The SI Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead will focus on workforce transition planning, super user readiness planning and supporting the client’s change management and change communication lead.
  • The SI OCM Lead will support executives, program, and project leaders, project teams and business stakeholders throughout the duration of the engagement by providing sound advice, counsel and execution support.
  • Will support development of strategic and tactical change management, training management, communications and user adoption activities for the project, using effective Prosci OCM methodology and tools.
  • Identify change management and user adoption related business issues/risks and recommend options and plans to remediate.
  • Ensure OCM activities are aligned with the project timeline and key milestones and are integrated with other work streams as required.
  • Manage overall OCM work plan and conduct weekly status reporting meetings.
  • Manage, Plan and facilitate workshops to identify business detailed impacts and develop plans for mitigation through communication, training or stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Support training efforts by reviewing and helping to manage the facilitation of training programs.
  • Apply solid change management principles and tools to drive accelerated adoption of project initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership, oversight and QA for all change management and training activities.
  • Partner with Project Teams in the project planning and integration of change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Review key stakeholder state of readiness.
  • Owner and Management of all changes for IT and Support Transition.
  • Manage all changes related to IT Transition and Support activities, and define post-transition issue management process.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled MJN project status update meetings with MJN Stakeholders and vendors, and report on project status Dashboard of change planned activities, completed, upcoming changes.
  • Participate in status, service transition, and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) review meetings to facilitate an accurate understanding of project/program health, develop and communicate mitigation plans for risks and action plans for issues as required.
  • Project oversight for other various initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Exposure to scrum (or other Agile frameworks).

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in management consulting, technology implementation, change management or related field expertise.
  • Minimum 3-year experience in developing and executing change management strategy focused on the adoption of new technology and processes.
  • Knowledge of best practice change management methodologies and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of how people and organizations process change.
  • Demonstrated experience on large scale projects in either a project management or change management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a change initiative within a complex organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills oral and written.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization and influence toward a common vision or goal.
  • Ability to build strong relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
  • Understanding of training and development principles and concepts and how they contribute to the overall change management strategy.
  • Experience supervising staff and accomplishing objectives through a team.
  • Experience estimating workloads and setting realistic targets and plans.
