ANGARAI accompanies Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker on China Trade Mission
Greenbelt, MD :- ANGARAI is pleased to announce the successful completion of the trade mission to China, accompanying Maryland's Prince George's County Executive Honorable Rushern Baker.
Mr. Ashwin Saboo, Market Research Analyst accompanied Prince George's County-Executive Mr. Rushern Baker, and a delegation of about 25 Maryland business executives, higher education leaders and government officials, in a nine-day trade development mission to China. The trip began, Wednesday , September 3, 2014, and served in strengthening economic and cultural ties between the Prince George's County and China as County Executive Baker and the delegation met with top Chinese government officials, and potential business & investment partners. At a reception on Thursday , September 11, 2014 in Shanghai, County Executive Baker recognized ANGARAI as a value adding partner in Prince George's County.
Ashwin Saboo reinforced that ANGARAI has been very successful in consistently providing holistic solutions to its global customers through project and program management services, business advisory services, organizational transformation management services and enterprise-wide oversight services. The delegation visited Beijing, the largest city & Political hub in China, Xiamen, and Shanghai – which is the country's financial hub. Throughout the mission, County Executive Baker and the delegation focused on promoting Prince George's County as a key strategic advantage that would benefit foreign-owned companies – within a proximity to the federal government, a skilled workforce, and a rich, culturally diverse business community.
The County Executive addressed a number of regional business organizations including the China International Fair for Investment & Trade ( CIFIT) Conference of Xiamen, which represents world's top international investment exposition.
Later, in Xiamen, County Executive Baker met with Vice Governor of Fujian Province, as well as with members of Xiamen Municipal government officials.
