Job Description

ANGARAI is introducing and implementing an Asymptomatic Self-Testing Center for COVID19 in Silver Spring, MD. The test is a quick, self-collection process limited to Montgomery County residents or essential employees of Montgomery County agencies or businesses.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

    The Administrative Staff is responsible for performing one or more of the following core roles: Registration, Self-collection Monitoring, Queuing/Logistics, Interpreting, and Exit Monitoring

  • REGISTRATION STAFF
    1. Confirm appointments
  • For pre-registered patients
    1. Scan Barcodes
      Ensure consent forms are completed
      Assign test kits and scan to link to kit-to-client
  • For not pre-registered patients
    1. Capture client information
      Have client complete consent
      Assign test kit and scan to link to kit-to-client
  • SELF-COLLECTION MONITORS
    1. Maintain distancing
      Observe for proper technique
      Answer questions
      Ensure re-packaging
      Ensure hand and space disinfection is done by patients
  • QUEUING/LOGISTICS
    1. Help set-up site
      Ensure supplies (test kits, forms, disinfectants, collection boxes) are appropriately staged
  • Assist in queuing of clients
    1. Maintain physical distancing
      Must be wearing face covering
      Confirm appointments
      Review for non-English speaking or other needs
  • INTERPRETERS
    1. Support non-English speaking patients throughout the testing process
  • EXIT MONITORS
    1. Ensure specimen is completely sealed and contains all items
      Direct drop-off of specimens in collection boxes/bags
      Provide exit information cards
      Direct clients out of testing site

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • A minimum of a High school diploma or relevant qualification
  • A minimum of 1 years’ proven experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Able to work in nights shifts occasionally
  • PREFERENCE(S)

    • 2 years’ experience in Data Entry and Documentation
    • 2 years’ experience with clerical position or equivalent roles
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
    • Driver’s license and vehicle
