Job Description

Our client extends this Request for Qualification (RFQ) to solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from experienced entities for design and construction of a River Tunnel System Construction Project. The project consists of a large diameter deep sewer tunnel, diversion facilities, drop shafts, and support structures to capture flows from existing combined sewer overflows (CSOs) along the river and convey them to theWastewater Treatment Plan for treatment. Agency.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparation of engineering drawings utilizing latest versions of AutoCAD and add-on design suites such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Perform MicroStation/GEOPAK processes.
Contribute to timely completion of drawings and daily drawing update tasks, including CAD Production, CAD Operation and CAD QA/QC.
Work closely with other departments on multi-discipline projects.

Qualification and Experience:

A high school diploma and specific training in CAD software.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with drafting and design related software including AutoCAD, 5-10 years of experience preferred.
Associate degree in Drafting or AutoCAD preferred.
Proficient in AutoCAD civil 3D, 2018 or newer; ability to work with 3D profiles and pipe networks.
Background in civil, structural, and geotechnical drafting; strong understanding of drafting standards.
Knowledge of Illustrator and other Adobe software a plus.
