Job Description

Must be capable of providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of DBMS. Must be able to evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.
Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.
Develops, implements, and maintains database back-up and recovery procedures for the processing environments, and ensures that data integrity, security, and recoverability are built into the DBMS applications.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
Master’s degree in computer science

Experience:

The candidate must have three (3) years’ experience for each of the experience
- Installation and setup up Dynamics applications, Dynamics CRM, and Dynamics Portal.
- Installation and administration of and ETL package like Connect Direct.
- Installation and administration of Dynamics in VMware environment.
- Installation and administration of SQL-Server 2015/2016 in VMware environment.
- Installation and administration of SharePoint 2016, or earlier version, in a VMware environment.
- Installation and administration of Team Foundation Server.
- Data conversion using Microsoft Integration Services.
- Installation of SQL Server patches and upgrades.
- Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, and security issues.
- Performance tuning, query optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Performing backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, clustering, database mirroring and replication.
- Any experience installing Microsoft Azure fabric
