ANGARAI Helps DGS Staff Acquire Additional Skills

The staff at Department of General Services (DGS), Baltimore, MD were trained by ANGARAI on various office technical skills as part of DGS’ Additional Skill Acquisition Program (ASAP). The program objective is to maximize learning effectiveness, develop skills and optimize cost and time. The two-day program used the “Activity based Learning” model, where every topic covered was totally hands-on. DGS’ ASAP is based on the premise that the program will improve participants’ skills and confidence to better leverage Office tools and to manage workplace demands, stress and time pressures; to work ‘smarter’, be less urgency driven, and be more productive. The sessions were split in to intermediate and advanced, focusing on the needs of different types of end users at DGS.
