New Class of 2012 Get Acquainted Reception, March 12, 2012

To congratulate the selected members of Leadership Maryland's (LMD) 20thAnniversary class, a "New Class of 2012 Get Acquainted Reception" was held on March 12, 2012 at the State House in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. The event provided an opportunity for the selected members of LMD Class 2012 to meet Governor O'Malley, the LMD Board of Directors, their 2012 classmates and LMD Alumni. ANGARAI's President and CEO, Venkat Subramanian is one of 50 men and women selected to participate in Leadership Maryland, an eight-month statewide, senior-level, independent, educational leadership program designed to develop informed senior-level public, private and non-profit sector leaders.

Leadership Maryland is a statewide program for members of the community who have made significant achievements in their careers and a difference in the community through volunteer work. For these selected leaders an educational and networking platform is provided for identifying and resolving regional and state-wide challenges and issues in education, health and human services, criminal justice, the environment and multi-culturalism. The intense 2012 Program commences in March through and closes in November. A graduation with banquet is scheduled for those who complete the program . Congratulations Venkat for being selected to participate in Leadership Maryland's Class of 2012!
