ANGARAI awarded Interstate Connection Network (ICON) Project Management and Oversight Services Contract with Maryland Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation (DLLR)

The Maryland Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation (DLLR) has awarded ANGARAI a four-year Consulting and Technical Services Plus (CATS+) Contract to provide core Project Management & Oversight Services for the Interstate Connection Network (ICON) project in full compliance with the State of Maryland’s System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies.

DLLR, under its cooperative agreement with the US Department of Labor, currently serves as an agent for the 53 State Workforce Agencies (SWAs) for Oversight Services on the ICON contract. ANGARAI will be tasked with ensuring accurate administrative oversight of the ICON project, and supporting the data processing and data exchange needs of the following:

  • 53 SWAs, including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands
  • Department of Labor (DOL) - in Washington, DC -UIDBMS
  • DOL in Atlanta, GA –UIDBMS DR
  • 54 DOL-State Unix servers, including a Training Center -UIDBMS
  • IRS-Contractor -HCTC
  • TALX –UCFE
  • USPS –UCFE
  • SSA –UIQ and IBIQ
  • 53 State Consumer Reporting Agencies (CRAs) -WRIS
  • This is ANGARAI's second engagement with MD DLLR; its prior engagement with the Department focused on Technical Writing and Software Testing Services.
